REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
As part of the State Historic Preservation Office, the OSA reviews permit applications and construction plans receiving state or federal assistance. Pertinent laws or regulations include the National Historic Preservation Act (sections 106 and 110), the North Carolina Coastal Area Management Act, the North Carolina Environmental Policy Act, and the North Carolina Mining Act.
