REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
REVIEW

As part of the State Historic Preservation Office, the OSA reviews permit applications and construction plans receiving state or federal assistance. Pertinent laws or regulations include the National Historic Preservation Act (sections 106 and 110), the North Carolina Coastal Area Management Act, the North Carolina Environmental Policy Act, and the North Carolina Mining Act.

For most review situations, OSA staff responsibilities are divided according to county and physiographic region. Questions concerning the Review and Compliance program at the OSA can be directed to . . .

Dolores Hall (for Land Resources), or
Richard Lawrence (for Underwater Resources).
